Welcome to Navachar Mantra! Navachar Mantra is a national initiative dedicated to discovering and supporting India’s most promising grassroot innovators. Our goal is simple: to help grassroots entrepreneurs grow by connecting you with the right guidance, resources, and platforms.
Who is this for? This programme is designed for micro and small entrepreneurs. You must be an Indian citizen between 18 and 55 years old , solving problems in Agiculture, Education, Health, Climate, or Rural Commerce.
What to Expect: This is the very first step. We want to hear the story behind your business. You will answer a few clear questions about the local problem you are solving, how your idea is unique, and what you have built so far.
The most impactful solutions for India's future often originate outside of major metropolitan areas, driven by individuals who deeply understand real-world problems.
To support these grassroots innovators, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Govt. of India), in collaboration with FITT at IIT Delhi, has launched Navachar Mantra.
This is a six-month, zero-cost incubation program designed to transform early-stage ideas into market-ready enterprises. Whether you are an academic with a research-backed concept, an early-stage founder, or an ecosystem enabler who knows promising talent, we invite you to explore this opportunity.
Selected participants will gain access to a comprehensive support system:
Zero Cost Participation: It is 100% free to apply and participate; only your ingenuity and commitment are required.
Substantial Funding Pathways: Founders gain access to Exim Bank’s Ubharte Sitare Program for ₹25 Lakhs to ₹1 Crore, plus facilitation into avenues like BIRAC BIG, NIDHI SSS, and SIDBI.
IIT Delhi Infrastructure & Validation: Access to cutting-edge facilities, computational infrastructure, and a final official IIT Delhi-backed incubator certificate.
Elite Global Network: Connection to an ecosystem of 2,600+ startups, 35 unicorns, alumni founders, and top-tier VCs.
6-Month Expert Mentorship: Hands-on guidance from industry experts on IP, legal compliance, and fundraising.
National Spotlight: Opportunities to present to government decision-makers and a chance to be featured on a national platform via 12 Ministerial Podcasts.
Microsoft Unnati AI 2.0: Deep capacity building and super acceleration for real-world deployments and market access.
The program is open to Indian residents aged 18 to 55, with a special priority for innovators from Tier 2, Tier 3, and rural areas. Even if the business is not yet formally registered, founders are fully eligible to apply and can register upon selection.
